The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office conducted a countywide compliance operation focused on registered sex and violent offenders ahead of Halloween.
Deputies conducted in-person verification checks at registered residences and workplaces to confirm addresses, employment and other required registry information, according to the Oct. 30 report.
The checks verified 126 offenders and resulted in two arrests. Details of those arrests were not included in the report.
Sheriff Noah Robinson said the safety of residents is always a priority, especially during the holidays.
