Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with an early morning burglary at the historic Tiger Den in La Crosse, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the La Crosse Volunteer Fire Department was sent to the building at 11 North Michigan Street at about 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 4 for a fire alarm. Fire personnel found the building had been entered and asked for a deputy to respond.
A deputy was shown several areas of the building that had been vandalized. Surveillance cameras captured images of three subjects, and investigators say all three were identified by 8:30 a.m.
Less than two hours later, deputies located and detained the three juveniles, ages 14, 16 and 17, at three separate locations. Each was arrested for burglary and criminal vandalism and taken to the Juvenile Services Center. The arrests are allegations and have not been proven in court.
