A federal jury in Indianapolis has convicted a Chicago man on all counts in a child sex trafficking case that began in Terre Haute.

Jacquez Brown, 31, was found guilty of sex trafficking of a minor, sexual exploitation of a child and three counts of distributing child sexual abuse material. The verdict followed a three-day trial earlier this month.

Prosecutors said Terre Haute police found a 15-year-old girl with Brown at a motel in December 2022 after a 911 text.

Brown has not yet been sentenced. A sentencing date will be set at a later time.
