No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 4 Indiana 19-15 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on Saturday, Oct. 17, handing the Hoosiers their first loss at home under head coach Curt Cignetti.

The game turned on Indiana's final play. Wide receiver Nick Marsh was open along the near sideline and caught quarterback Josh Hoover's pass, but he had drifted a step out of bounds. The would-be 27-yard touchdown on fourth-and-4 did not count, Indiana turned the ball over on downs, and Ohio State ran out the result.

Hoover finished 20 of 40 for 296 yards and a touchdown, according to IndyStar. Marsh caught three passes for 57 yards in the game.

Indiana fell to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten, while Ohio State improved to 6-1 and 4-0 in the conference. The loss ended a 22-game Indiana win streak that had been the longest active streak in the FBS, dating back to a playoff loss to Notre Dame on Dec. 20, 2024.
