Indianapolis International Airport will add a nonstop flight to Montreal next summer, the Indianapolis Airport Authority announced Oct. 16.
Air Canada will operate the seasonal route once a day in both directions from June 1 through Sept. 30, 2027. It will be the airport's first-ever nonstop service to Montreal.
Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez said the route gives Hoosier travelers nonstop reach to an important international business hub, and brings the airport to six international destinations served nonstop.
The addition brings the airport's total number of unique destinations to 58, a record for Indianapolis International.
Montreal joins a run of new international nonstops announced in the past 18 months, including Dublin, San Jose del Cabo and Punta Cana. Air Canada said the Montreal hub will also offer connections onward across Canada, Europe and Asia, complementing its existing Indianapolis-Toronto service.
